Stainless Steel Wire Rope Tube Thimble
This stainless steel wire rope tube thimble is an ultra-heavy-duty, fully enclosed rigging component designed to line and protect the inside loop (or "eye") of a wire rope. Unlike traditional open-groove thimbles where the cable sits exposed on the outside track, a tube thimble features a hollow steel tube that completely surrounds and encloses the wire rope through the entire bend of the eye.
Key Characteristics Fully Enclosed Tube Design: The wire rope is threaded through the interior of a rigid steel tube. This encapsulates the cable completely around the loop radius, leaving no part of the wire exposed to direct external friction or pinching.
Reinforcing Gusset (Optional): Many high-load tube thimbles feature a solid steel gusset plate welded across the center of the loop, providing immense structural resistance against crushing forces.316 Marine-Grade Stainless Steel: Typically manufactured from cast or heavy-wall 316 stainless steel to provide maximum protection against rust, pitting, and harsh saltwater environments.

Smoother Load Distribution: The structural rigidity of the tube evenly distributes extreme heavy loads across the entire eye, preventing localized wire fatigue.
