A D shackle with an Allen key flush pin (also known as a flush hex pin shackle) is a low-profile rigging connector where the screw-in pin sits entirely flat against the shackle body. Instead of a traditional protruding pin head or loop that you turn by hand, the pin features an internal hexagonal socket. It requires an Allen key (hex wrench) to open, close, and tighten.
