A safety bolt shackle replaces the traditional screw-in pin with a three-part locking system designed to completely eliminate accidental loosening:
Smooth Bolt: A non-threaded pin passes entirely through both shackle ears.
Hex Nut: A heavy industrial nut threads onto the end of the bolt to clamp it tight.
Cotter Pin: A split cotter pin inserts through a pre-drilled hole at the very tip of the bolt, physically preventing the hex nut from spinning off.
