Unlike standard door hinges that have a permanent center pin, this specific hardware layout features a two-piece modular design. The center barrel is split unevenly, which allows one leaf to slip completely off the pin of the opposing leaf.

Solid Casting Thickness: It is constructed from thick investment cast 316 stainless steel rather than stamped metal sheet, providing strong resistance to flexing or alignment bending.
Countersunk Screw Layout: It contains four heavy-set screw holes designed with angled interior lips. This allows flat-head fasteners to sit completely flush against the metal faceplates.
Saltwater Defense: The surface is buffed to a high mirror-polish finish, which seals out salt water to prevent rust, corrosion, and micro-pitting.
