This component is a Square Tubing Inside Eye End / Top Cap, specifically engineered for marine Bimini tops and pontoon boat canopy frames that utilize square structural tubing instead of traditional round pipes.
Dual-Finish Construction: The top exposed eye end is mirror-polished for an aesthetic, scratch-resistant finish, while the lower insert section features a matte, raw-cast finish to enhance friction inside the tube.
Marine-Grade 316 Stainless Steel: It provides maximum rust and saltwater corrosion resistance, offering a heavy-duty, long-lasting alternative to standard black nylon or plastic caps.
Pre-Drilled Retention Hole: The lower square base includes a drilled pass-through hole. This allows you to secure the insert from the outside of the tube using a self-tapping screw or cotter pin, preventing it from backing out under heavy wind loads.
