Heavy Duty Marine-Grade Offset Stud-Mount Concealed Hinge.
This model has a specific design difference: it is an offset or unequal-length hinge. One side of the hinge plate is long and rounded, while the other side is short and square.
Why use an Offset Hinge?
Unequal Mounting Space: This is perfect when you have plenty of room on your opening hatch lid (the long, rounded side), but very limited flat space on the surrounding boat frame or deck lip (the short, square side).
Clearance Control: The offset pivot point helps a heavy hatch swing open cleanly without binding or rubbing against the edge of the fiberglass deck cutout.
Features & Advantages
Flush Top Profile: Just like the previous hinges, the top surface is completely smooth. This keeps your boat deck looking sleek and prevents stubbed toes or trip hazards.
Invisible Mounting Studs: Threaded rods extend directly from the bottom of the casting. You secure them out of sight using washers and locking nuts underneath the deck.
Saltwater Proof: Made from premium cast 316 Stainless Steel to survive constant exposure to ocean spray, sun, and wet conditions without rusting.
