Marine 90-Degree Elbow Boat Fuel/Gas Tank Vent, manufactured from heavy-duty cast 316 marine-grade stainless steel.
Unlike the previous straight models, this version features a 90-degree bend on the tail pipe. This design is crucial for installations where clearance space behind the hull, bulkhead, or transom is extremely tight, preventing the fuel ventilation hose from kinking.
Core Features & Design Elements
• 90° Elbow Tail Piece: The right-angle hose barb allows the ventilation hose to run immediately parallel to the hull skin, making it perfect for narrow gunwales or confined interior compartments.
• Protruding Round Head: The top cap rises slightly above the hull surface and features multiple circular side vents.
• Visible Mesh Screen: Inside the circular side vents, you can clearly see the integrated stainless steel wire mesh screens. These act as a flame/spark arrestor and keep bugs (like mud daubers) out of your fuel system.
• Mounting Components: Comes complete with a thick black rubber waterproof sealing washer, a split lock washer, and a large hexagonal jam nut to clamp the unit tightly to the boat surface.
Standard Dimensions & Fitting
• Hose Barb Diameter: Typically designed to fit a standard 5/8" (16mm) inner diameter (ID) marine vent hose.
• Hull Cutout Hole: Generally requires drilling a 3/4" (19mm) installation hole through the hull.
