We've designed this turnbuckle tensioner toggle set seamlessly.You don't have any visible pins or anything.There's no markings of how the pieces attach together. We've had it made extremely robust so that you can actually install these fittings by simply drilling a 3/16" inch pilot hole and you insertthe fitting and wind it in by hand. It couldn't be easier; very easy to work with.
If you run out oftensioning,you simply loosen the three hex screws, which are a #3(mm) Allen key.You simply loosen those, pull the cable out,make your adjustment,you open the barrel again and trim offthe excess-insertthe cable and you're able to tighten it back up.
It works for straight runs or on stairs.

No Crimp/Specialized Tools Needed: The swageless hex lock design secures standard 1/8" or 3/16" stainless steel cables purely with internal locking set screws (loosened/tightened with a 3mm Allen key), bypassing the need for a hydraulic crimping tool.
Articulating Toggle: The multi-angle hinged toggle head articulates up to 135 degrees, making it perfect for transitioning from straight balcony runs to angled staircases or pitched inclines.
Wood-Post Anchor: The heavy-duty wood lag screw threads drive cleanly directly into wood, composite, or timber corner posts.
Adjustable Alignment: The integrated turnbuckle barrel gives you up to 2 inches of tensioning travel. If you over-cut a cable, you can simply unclamp the hex lock barrel, trim the excess wire rope, and re-tension.
General Installation Overview
1,Drill Pilot Holes: Drill precise 3/16" pilot holes into the wood anchor terminal posts.
2,Mount the Fitting: Thread the lag screw end clockwise securely into the wood post by hand or utilizing wrench flats until flush.
3,Insert the Cable: Insert your uncoated stainless steel wire rope fully into the receiver head.
4,Lock & Tension: Fasten the integrated hex socket screws tightly to grip the cable securely. Rotate the central turnbuckle body using standard open-end wrenches to apply optimal tension across the layout.
