Hardware & Dynamic Mechanical Breakdown
Surface Lag Screw Mounting: The lower section features standard external deep-spaced lag wood threads. This end drives straight into a pre-drilled pilot hole in wood framing posts without requiring a hidden back-side counterbore or structural through-hole.
Integrated Hex Jam Nut: Located immediately between the terminal tube sleeve and the lag bolt section is an adjustable mechanical jam nut. This gives builders a physical bracing wrench point to screw the lag component securely flush against the post face. It also locks down the terminal body to keep it from backing out under a continuous cable load.
The Swageless Tube Receptacle: The upper polished receiver body contains two integrated mechanical set screws (or jack screws). Slipping raw, uncut cable straight inside this sleeve and torqueing the set screws down with a standard hex key manually crimps the assembly. It structurally clamps the internal strands without needing an industrial-grade tool.
