A marine grade triangle ring (sometimes called a delta ring) is a heavy-duty, three-sided metal fastener engineered to resist severe rust and saltwater corrosion.Its unique triangular shape is specifically designed to converge multi-directional forces into a single point, making it highly stable for heavy rigging. Like other marine hardware, it is primarily manufactured using premium Type 304 or 316 stainless steel.
Key Characteristics
The Material: Made from 304 or 316 Stainless Steel to fight off pitting and crevice corrosion caused by salt, chlorides, and constant outdoor exposure.
The Shape: The wide, flat base keeps heavy webbing or straps perfectly flat and prevents bunching. The two angled sides direct the pulling force perfectly to the top apex of the triangle.
Construction: Most marine-grade triangle rings are solidly welded at the joint and polished smooth so they do not cut or fray the straps passing through them.
