A round ring with a center bar (often called a center bar ring, buckle ring, or crossbar ring) is a circular piece of hardware divided down the middle by a metal bar. This design creates two separate openings, allowing you to loop, adjust, or lock straps and ropes in place without them slipping or bunching together.
How It Works
The center bar acts as a divider and an anchor point.As an Adjuster: Webbing can be fed up through one side, over the center bar, and down through the other side to create an adjustable, slip-resistant loop.
As a Separator: It allows you to permanently attach a fixed strap to the center bar while leaving the rest of the ring free to accept hooks, ropes, or clips.
