This specialized hardware merges two crucial design features: a 90-degree right-angle elbow tail piece to save valuable clearance space behind tight bulkheads, and a low-profile, flush-mount bowl design that sits flat against the exterior hull to prevent ropes, docks, or clothing from snagging.
Product Features & Mechanics
• Recessed Bowl Design: The central cap sits nested inside a small stainless steel cup/bowl. Air vents smoothly around the perimeter of the cap, while the bowl captures fuel backsplashes or prevents water from washing directly down the hose.
• 90° Elbow Tail Piece: Directs the attached hose immediately downwards or parallel to the hull skin. This prevents hose kinking in narrow gunwales or tight transom layouts.
• Internal Protections: Includes a hidden stainless steel mesh screen inside the cap assembly. This screen is engineered to function as a flame/spark arrestor and blocks small pests, such as mud daubers, from building nests inside your fuel system.
• Complete Sealing Hardware: Accompanied by a thick, form-fitting black rubber backing washer to seal out water on the exterior hull skin, coupled with a solid metal hex locknut on the threaded shaft for secure mechanical anchoring.
