Gooseneck Dock Bollard / Staghorn Cleat, a heavy-duty mooring post explicitly designed to manage high-angle lines and heavy surge loads on yacht decks and docks.
Unique Design Advantages
Staghorn / Gooseneck Geometry: The outward-curving, downward-turned arms create an aggressive hook profile. This structural design prevents mooring lines from riding up and slipping off the post during significant tidal variations or heavy rolling seas.
Dual-Stud Under-Mounting: Unlike standard cleats with top-facing screw counter-sinks, this heavy-duty variant relies on thick threaded structural studs extending from beneath the base plate. It uses heavy hex nuts and a reinforced backing washer plate (visible at the bottom) to sandwich the deck, distributing sheer stress across a wider footprint.
Line Guide / Fairlead Synergy: The open, arched center section allows the unit to simultaneously function as a simple fairlead, enabling lines to pass cleanly through the center profile to other winches or chocks.
