Heavy-Duty Double Cross Boat Dock Bollard

  • Heavy-Duty Double Cross Boat Dock Bollard
product description

Heavy-Duty Double Cross Boat Dock Bollard (also known as a double mooring bitt), which is the standard upgrade from a single cross design for higher-load tie-offs.

Key Functional Features

High-Capacity Dual Posts: Features two vertical pillars connected by a single continuous horizontal crossbar, allowing lines to be wrapped in a secure "Figure-8" pattern to handle significant surge loads.

4-Bolt Heavy Duty Base: Built with an elongated, heavy-gauge oval base plate containing four countersunk mounting holes to evenly distribute massive multidirectional shearing forces across dock timbers or vessel decks.

Flared Retention Caps: All four exposed ends of the posts and crossbars feature wide, rounded caps that physically prevent highly tensioned mooring lines from slipping off during heavy swells.

316 Stainless Steel: Cast from premium marine-grade alloy and mirror-polished to prevent crevice corrosion in marine environments while protecting expensive nylon or braided ropes from friction damage.
