Bow Anchor Lock / Channel Chain Stopper

  • Bow Anchor Lock / Channel Chain Stopper
product description

Marine-Grade 316 Stainless Steel Bow Anchor Lock / Channel Chain Stopper. It is a critical piece of deck safety hardware mounted on or alongside a boat's bow roller system. Its primary purpose is to firmly lock down the anchor chain or shackle pin while underway, preventing accidental anchor drop at sea and relieving structural stress from your windlass winch gears.

Core Components & Functionality

Curved Channel Shell: The rounded stainless steel body acts as a heavy-duty tracking shield. It mounts directly over or right behind the anchor chain roller.

Quick-Release Fastener Pin: The cross-body spring-loaded metal pin slides horizontally across the channel. To lock your anchor, you slide the pin through an open link of the anchor chain or through the anchor's main shank shackle eye.

Knurled Pull-Knob: The threaded thumb-knob on the side lets you manually release or snap the pin shut in seconds, keeping the anchor completely rigid when traveling at high cruising speeds or crashing through choppy water.

What thickness chain (e.g., 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8") or shackle size needs to slide through the channel?

Do you need assistance verifying the center-to-center hole measurements to ensure it lines up with an existing bow roller setup?
