The Delta Simple Snap Hook is available in a range of sizes from 5x50mm to 16x160mm. This clip is available with or without an eyelet and is made from grade 304 or 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. It is ideal for marine and industrial applications.
Structural Features
Asymmetric/Delta Profile: The top loop tapers sharply outward into a wide corner while the base curves narrowly. This forced asymmetry channels loads smoothly along the solid, strong spine of the connector instead of letting ropes or chains slide out to the weaker spring-gate side.
Torsion Wire Gate: Made from heavy-gauge spring wire, the dual-prong closure is lightweight and highly resistant to environmental clogging. It handles freezing weather well because there are fewer tight tolerances where ice, mud, or grit can seize up a pivoting mechanism.
Integrated Keyed Nose: The hook nose features an aggressive relief pocket that cradles the tip of the wire gate when shut, preventing twisting under unexpected cross-axial forces.
