This configuration eliminates the need to drill side-by-side holes, keeping gunwales completely uncluttered while offering immediate versatility on the water.
Structural Features & Sizing Specs
• Right-Angle Installation Cut: Even for angled models, the top section (the cup sleeve) is drop-in vertical. This completely eliminates the need for difficult, angled hole-saw cuts through the fiberglass or aluminum gunwale.
• Integrated Gimbal Pin: A heavy-duty cross-pin is cast directly into the lower bottom of the inner tube to lock your fishing rod butts into position and prevent them from spinning while trolling.
• Threaded Bottom NPT Drain: The close-up callout highlights a 3/8" threaded NPT drain tail welded directly to the lowest point of the capsule floor. This routes rainwater or splash downward into an attached drain line rather than allowing condensation or moisture to puddle beneath the deck into dry storage liners.
