This is a spring energy absorber (also known as a shock absorber) designed for permanent horizontal lifeline (HLL) fall protection systems.
Key Functions & Specifications:
Shock Absorption: It is installed inline at the end of a stainless steel cable lifeline. In the event of a fall, the heavy-duty coils expand to absorb the massive dynamic forces, protecting both the workers and the structural anchor points from catastrophic damage.
Heavy-Duty Construction: Made entirely of rugged 304 or 316 stainless steel to withstand harsh outdoor roof weather conditions permanently.
System Capacity: It is rated for use on cable lifelines spanning up to 120 feet (approx. 36 meters).
Rigging Connections: It features a flat eye-end terminal on the left and a pin-end terminal on the right for clean integration with shackles, turnbuckles, and end anchors.
