Stainless steel turnbuckles with eye and eye fittings are versatile hardware pieces that make tensioning cables, ropes, and wires simple and effective. These adjustable connectors feature a central threaded body with eye-shaped loops at both ends, allowing them to be easily attached and tensioned. Available in M5-M20 sizes. Made from weather-resistant 316 grade metal, they are made to secure and tension your wire ropes. Versatile and adjustable by hand, it’s a good idea to begin with the turnbuckle 40-50% engaged in order to apply the tension you need once fitted.
How The Turnbuckle Works The turnbuckle's threaded centre section allows you to adjust tension by simply turning the body. As you rotate it, the eye fittings move closer together or farther apart, tightening or loosening whatever is connected between them. This adjustment mechanism gives you precise control over tension levels.
