Oval Mounting Flanges: Instead of large circular plates, the bases on this model are molded into compact oval shapes that sit nicely on narrow gunwales, console lips, or dashboard frames.
Two-Hole Mounting Pattern: Each oval base features two pre-drilled holes placed in line with the tube. This layout makes it very easy to install on narrow fiberglass lips where wider bases won't fit.
Top-Down Fastening: Screws or bolts are driven directly into the top of the flanges. This means you do not need access to the hidden backside of the wall to tighten down nuts.
