Core Components & Mechanics
T-Handle Lift Ring: Pulls up from the rectangular faceplate so you can twist the main shaft.
Adjustable Hinge Cam Arm: Located on the back of the shaft, this offset bar rotates underneath your deck lip or frame.
Height Adjustment Set Screw: An adjustable screw on the cam arm lets you change its height up or down along the shaft. This allows you to create a tight, custom seal that matches the exact thickness of your deck hatch and stops rattle.
Sizing and Installation Notes
Faceplate Dimensions: Standard models usually measure 3-1/8" x 2-11/16", while larger heavy-duty configurations measure 3-3/4" x 3".
Mounting Holes: The plate includes 4 countersunk screw holes at the corners to make sure the mounting fasteners sit entirely flush with the metal surface.
