A Swage Adjustable Stud Terminal is a heavy-duty tensioning end-fitting used to permanently connect and tighten stainless steel wire ropes or cables to posts, walls, or anchors. It is widely used in [modern cable railing systems and architectural designs to keep cables perfectly tight and straight. The Cable Attachment (Swaging): One end of the fitting has a hollow sleeve. You insert the raw cable end into this sleeve and use a hydraulic swaging/crimping tool to crush the metal onto the wire. This creates a permanent, high-strength cold-weld bond. The Tensioning Mechanism (Adjustable): The other end features a long, threaded rod (the stud). By turning a matching hex nut against a post or inside a turnbuckle body, you pull the cable tight to remove any sagging.
