Anatomy & Components
Top Swivel Hook with Latch: The heavy-duty steel hook rotates a full 360 degrees to realign naturally under heavy load and prevent the line from kinking or twisting.
The safety latch keeps the connection securely fastened.
Metal Side Plates (Cheeks): The rigid diamond-shaped metal housing protects the inner wheel and keeps the rope firmly seated in the groove.
Single Sheave: The interior single wheel is designed to route wire ropes, steel cables, or high-tensile fibrous ropes smoothly.
Bottom Becket (Connection Eye): The small metallic ring at the very bottom allows you to dead-end a rope directly to the block, which is essential for creating multi-line block and tackle mechanical systems
