Lockable Hold-Down Anti-Rattle Toggle Clamp Latch. It is one of the most common and reliable hardware fasteners used on boats to secure locker doors and deck hatches while eliminating annoying vibrations.
Tension-Locking Cam Handle: The smooth lever on the left is pulled backward to put tension on the clamp arm, pulling the two base plates toward each other to create a completely rigid seal.
Padlock Eyelet: The small center metal loop just under the lever acts as a lock safety point. When the latch is fully closed, you can slide a padlock through this eyelet to lock up your gear and boat cabins.
Flush Flat Bases: Both the clamping side and the hook side have flat bases with two pre-drilled screw holes, designed specifically for flush (flat) surfaces where the hatch door sits completely level with the surrounding frame.

To ensure your new or replacement latch fits perfectly without drilling new holes:
Do you know the overall length of the latch you need (e.g., around 3 inches / 75mm or 4.5 inches / 110mm)?
What is the center-to-center distance between the two screw holes on either individual plate?
