Vibrant Anodized Coloring: Unlike traditional silver or polished steel hardware, this cleat features a specialized blue anodized finish. The electrochemical process diffuses a rich metallic color deep into the outer pores of the aluminum, creating a striking aesthetic accent while shielding the raw metal from aggressive salt-spray oxidation.
Low-Silhouette Top Profile: The top horn surface is intentionally flattened and slopes gently downward toward the tips. This ultra-low design drastically minimizes tripping hazards on narrow gunwales and keeps idle fishing or mooring lines from catching.
Debris-Resistant Closed Base: The central post foundation between the deck plate and the horn wings is entirely solid (closed-base). This leaves no structural cavities where seaweed, dried mud, salt crystals, or lake debris can gather, ensuring rapid and easy freshwater washdowns.
Top-Down Dual Fastener Ports: Two deep, counter-sunk installation holes are drilled straight through the central spine of the main horn body. This permits immediate surface-mount installation from above the deck using heavy-duty flathead screws or machine bolts.
