Triple Spiral Sheet Sand Anchor

  • Triple Spiral Sheet Sand Anchor
product description

Triple spiral sand anchors (also called triple-turn sand augers or screw-in beach anchors) represent the highest tier of holding power for shallow-water mooring. By engineering three continuous spiral flight tiers into the blade base, these anchors provide three times the sediment surface contact area of a standard single-turn anchor.

Instead of relying on heavy physical weight, they use soil compactness to lock small boats, jet skis, and pontoons securely to beaches or sandbars, withstanding gusts up to 70 mph.

Crucial Sandbar Safety Tips

Beware the Sharp Edges: Because the triple helical flights are designed to aggressively cut through hard sand and clay, the edges can be quite sharp. Handle with care during installation.

Always Remove the Handle: Once the auger is screwed completely down flush with the sand bed, pull out the quick-release cross handle. Leaving the handle attached creates a dangerous underwater hazard for family members stepping off the boat swim platform.

Pair with a Bungee Line: Do not attach a rigid dock line directly to the anchor loop. Use an elastic marine line; it absorbs the violent lifting force of passing boat wakes so the auger isn't yanked out of its hole.

To help complete your shallow-water anchoring configuration, let us know:

What is the exact length and style of your boat or watercraft?

Do you primarily boat in a saltwater beach or a freshwater river/lake sandbar?

Are you using this to tie off your boat's bow to the beach, or to completely float it in shallow water?
